Who will you meet?
At lunch, Paul Heidemann Meyer, Area Manager for DIAS, and Mette-Marie Borgstrøm, IT Solution Architect at Architecture and Design, will talk about their areas of work. You will also meet Janne Damgaard, HR Consultant, who will tell you a lot about what it's like to work in the IT department.
What does DIAS do?
DIAS stands for Dynamic Infrastructure for Applications and Services. DIAS is responsible for developing and maintaining applications, all with a focus on making life easier for patients and healthcare professionals.
What does Architecture and Design do?
Architecture & Design, is responsible for designing new digital solutions, so that they support desired workflows and fit in with the region's existing digital solutions as well as they accommodate future working methods and technological development.
A career in the IT department
As IT employees, we work with the latest technologies within the healthcare sector. You come right down to the machine room and work with technologies such as Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, NodeJS and Go as, for example, a front-end or back-end developer.
You can also work with the Enterprise Data Warehouse based on Microsoft technology (SQL, SSIS) or use the Tableau platform as a reporting and visualization platform.
If you are more interested in working with general OS operations, i.a. Linux and Windows, then you must be part of our operations department. Here, you can work with security patching and troubleshooting of our many different solutions, primarily through VMware vSphere. We have approx. 4.400 virtual machines in operation and ACI (network virtualization). We also work with Cloud Native application operations and new tools for these.
