WHAT
Managing Python projects can be a challenge due to dependency issues with tools like pipenv, Anaconda, or poetry. In response, we have developed venv-cli, a lightweight command-line interface tool, to help simplify the creation and management of virtual environments and project dependencies.
The tool leverages pip and venv, ensuring a transparent workflow and a focus on the ease of use of virtual environments, without any of the potential issues and frustrations that come from using existing third-party tools.
In this talk, Stefan Mejlgaard will go through the motivation for building venv-cli and some of the thoughts about the underlying principles, then showcase the tool with some practical examples.
Stefan Mejlgaard is an Advanced Developer in ML&AI at Salling Group. His daily work involves using python and machine learning to help the business by optimizing processes, increasing user engagement in their online stores, creating forecasts for workforce planning and more.
